What is Hair Loss?

Hair loss is a common problem that many people face. Although hair loss is more common with advancing age, hair loss can occur at any age, including childhood. Some people may be genetically predisposed to hair loss. However, we can also lose our hair due to stress, malnutrition or health problems.
In fact, hair loss is part of the normal growth process. Most healthy people lose an average of 100 strands of hair every day and new hair growth replaces them. However, hair loss is defined as alopecia, that is, hair loss, when hair falls out more than average due to various reasons or when new hair does not grow in place of the lost hair.
